In this Spring Rite, we reproduce an ancient theme by taking the Horned God's virility into ourselves and using that power to propel our yearly goal into manifestation. However, we are doing so much more than that. We are also augmenting our own health and vitality, enhancing our longevity and fighting off the forces of death and decay within ourselves. This is symbolized by taking the godly virility from the Wild Man poppet into yourself and then tossing his dried corpse into a river.
